Our Mission
To create a platform that converges the scientific temper of a group of remarkable people to promote scientific awareness among the general community. In an age of information, an ordinary individual is bombarded with a lot of facts regarding science, pseudoscience and other related topics resulting in a lot of confusion and misinterpretations. Our aim is to bring more clarity on the subject while enhancing the scientific temper and act against superstitions that are prevalent in society.

Our Story
Inspired from Richard Dawkins' quote-"Science is the Poetry of Reality"- we started our project through our science blog "Poetry of Reality", where we mainly discuss about the latest updates in science, scientists and pseudoscience. Next step was to have a science discussion platform, hence a group named "Resonance" was created on WhatsApp. We have conducted Talk series, Quiz competitions, debates and also celebrated subject week where subject specific programmes were coordinated in Resonance. As a part of reaching out to the curious minds, an online Astronomy workshop" Above the Horizon " was conducted.

"Luminaries ", an online bimonthly e-science magazine was launched in October 2021 to promote scientific writing and propagate science. We have raised our voice against the act of introducing unscientific ideas as a part Indian Knowledge system by IIT Kharagpur in their academic calendar by creating our own calendar reminding people of the scientific contribution made by Indian scientists. Further more, online and offline workshops on topics like Python and LaTeX as well as talk series and an online crash course for higher secondary students were held as part of our out reach programme
