Our Activities

The need to propagate scientific temper in the society is evident now more than ever. Poetry of reality is an initiative from a group of science students to the cause. As science students we realize that it is our duty and responsibility. Our journey had a humble beginning in the form of the blog "Poetry of Reality". It is the necessity of the time that scientific temper should become engraved into public consciousness.

Objection Against IIT Kharagpur Calendar

Poetry of Reality showcased it's strong objection against IIT Kharagpur's calendar for the year 2023 known as "Vishwaguru Bharatvarsha". The calendar has strange purpose and descriptions. As science conscious citizens of India, we must strongly fight against this saffronizing agenda of IIT Kharagpur which rejects science and progressive ideas.

India March For Science

Poetry of Reality stands in solidarity with "India March for Science 2022". On August 22, Ms.Chinnumol Sebastian, Chief Operating Officer, Poetry of Reality became a part of "India March for Science 2022" and spoke on behalf of Poetry of Reality of Kottayam Gandhi Square. Ms.Sruthy K.S., Editor of Luminaries spoke at the "India March for Science" held at Tripunithara on 27th August.

Science Workshop for UP Students

The first offline workshop in association with the 3rd anniversary of Poetry of Reality was held on 15th June at SNDP H.S.S, Udayamperur. The workshop was for UP children. Classes, experiments and quiz were conducted for children followed by the prize giving session.
